Please call 519-984-6393 or click here for booking.

I offer in person, virtual and walk-and-talk sessions.

For in-person sessions please plan to arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment time and come prepared with a cheque, cash, or make an email transfer before our appointment.

For virtual sessions please send e-transfer payment prior to our appointment time.

For walk-and-talk sessions, the location will be mutually determined, payment must be made by etransfer and an additional consent form must be completed.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made via text, email or phone with at least 48 hours notice for Tuesday-Friday appointments and by 10am Friday for all Monday appointments to avoid paying the cancellation fee. The fee is the full session amount.

I understand that things come up and you may need to cancel a scheduled appointment from time to time, when this is done without ample notice it is not possible to offer that session to someone else. When booking a session with me you are paying for my time, space, training and experience and in return I am agreeing to be available to you for that scheduled time.

Therapy tends to be most helpful to people who view their appointments as an important and valuable component of their lives. This cancellation policy models healthy and clear boundaries and empowers you to be responsible for your life.

Cancellation fees will be waived in certain circumstances, ie. medically necessary, a sudden death of a loved one or a natural disaster.

I will make every effort to not cancel or reschedule appointments unless absolutely necessary. In this case I will give as much notice as possible and will reschedule without penalty to you.

Fees

One hour session: $160

Ninety minute session: $240

Other session lengths may be mutually agreed upon as needed.

Counselling sessions are covered under many extended benefit plans, reach out to your provider as they all differ. In addition, social work services can be claimed under medical expenses for income tax purposes. I do not direct bill benefit providers so you will be required to pay me, for which I will provide a receipt and you can submit that for reimbursement.

The following programs can offset or cover the fee:

OSAP provides a bursary which can cover counselling fees for those receiving OSAP and who have a mental health diagnosis from a doctor or psychiatrist. Click here for more information.
